Games Like Countdown Killer

Countdown Killer is a really interesting little shooter that popped up in a game jam back in 2020. It’s a fast paced experience where you’re trying to survive waves of enemies. What makes it stand out is the way the game handles time. You have a countdown ticking down constantly adding a layer of urgency to every encounter. You need to be quick thinking and decisive to make it through each wave. The visuals are simple but effective and the gameplay loop is incredibly addictive. It's not a game that will take hundreds of hours to complete but it’s perfect for short bursts of intense action. If you enjoy a challenge and don't mind a retro aesthetic, Countdown Killer is definitely worth checking out. It’s a solid example of what can be achieved in a game jam.
