Games Like Countdown (itch) (OwenDavies)

Countdown is a really interesting little game that blends RPG elements with clever puzzle solving. You find yourself trapped in a prison and your goal is to escape. The gameplay revolves around manipulating time to navigate the environment and overcome obstacles. It’s not about fast action or complex combat. Instead it's a thoughtful experience where you’re constantly figuring out how to use time loops and cause-and-effect to progress. The pixel art style is charming and fits the prison setting perfectly. It’s a game that encourages experimentation and rewards careful planning. If you enjoy games that make you think and appreciate a unique narrative presented in a simple yet effective way, Countdown is definitely worth checking out.
