Games Like Count Your Steps

Count Your Steps is a really clever puzzle game where you're guiding a little character through a world built from dice rolls. It's surprisingly engaging because you don't directly control the character. Instead you manipulate the dice to create paths and overcome obstacles. Each step your character takes is determined by the dice so planning ahead is key. The game has a charming aesthetic and a gentle learning curve that gradually introduces new mechanics. It's the kind of game you can pick up for a quick session or lose yourself in for a longer play through. It’s all about problem solving and figuring out the most efficient way to navigate each level using the random nature of the dice. It’s a unique blend of strategy and chance that makes for a satisfying and often humorous experience.
