Games Like Cosmos (itch) (Equalent)

Cosmos is a really cool little space shooter that feels surprisingly deep for its simple presentation. You pilot a ship through procedurally generated galaxies blasting away at enemies and collecting resources. It’s super easy to pick up and play but there’s a definite sense of progression as you unlock upgrades and discover new ship parts. The visuals are clean and minimalist using the SFML library which gives it a retro feel. It's not about complex storylines or intense action it's more about the satisfying loop of exploration and improvement in a vast and somewhat mysterious universe. If you enjoy games where you can just chill and enjoy the feeling of piloting a ship and gradually getting more powerful this one might be right up your alley. It's a great example of how a small team can create something genuinely enjoyable and replayable.
