Games Like Corruption Prototype (Project 1, 2018)

Corruption Prototype Project 1 is a really interesting little strategy game you can jump into right in your web browser. It's a top down perspective where you control a group of units battling against some kind of shadowy corruption spreading across the land. The gameplay is pausable which is fantastic because you can really take your time to plan your moves. You’ll be positioning your units, using their abilities, and trying to outsmart your opponent in real time tactics. It feels like a stripped down version of a bigger strategy game but it has a unique charm. The simple 2D graphics are functional and the focus is definitely on the tactical decisions you make. It's a great game to pick up for a quick strategic challenge or to just unwind with something a bit different.
