Games Like Cornivore

Cornivore is a wonderfully strange little game born from the Ludum Dare 41 jam. It throws you into the role of a creature with a very specific dietary need it must fulfill corn. The gameplay is a fascinating blend of farming and survival with a touch of the absurd. You'll be planting and harvesting corn but also dealing with a variety of challenges and quirky events. It's not about epic battles or complex storylines. Instead, Cornivore offers a unique and oddly compelling experience focusing on the simple satisfaction of cultivating your corn supply and adapting to whatever the game throws your way. There's a charm to its simplicity and a surprising amount of depth in how you manage your resources and overcome obstacles. If you appreciate games that aren't afraid to be a little different and offer a unique gameplay loop, Cornivore is definitely worth checking out. It’s a short experience but a memorable one.
