Cooking Prototype is a really unique RPG that blends turn based combat with surprisingly deep cooking minigames. You play as a protagonist who embarks on a journey to master culinary arts while also battling enemies. The core loop involves exploring the world gathering ingredients then using those ingredients to cook dishes that enhance your abilities or help you in combat. It's a charming experience where the food preparation itself feels engaging and rewarding not just a way to power up. The story is lighthearted and the characters are memorable adding to the overall enjoyable feel.
