Games Like Cooking Dead

Cooking Dead is a really interesting game jam creation from 2022. You play as a survivor in a zombie apocalypse but instead of just fighting, your main goal is to cook meals for other survivors. It sounds a little strange but it’s surprisingly engaging. You gather ingredients, follow recipes, and manage your cooking station all while trying to stay alive and avoid the hordes of undead. The game has a quirky sense of humor and a unique blend of simulation and survival elements. It's not about intense action but more about resource management and a bit of strategic planning to keep everyone fed. If you enjoy games that offer a different take on familiar genres and appreciate a lighthearted approach to a grim setting, Cooking Dead might be worth checking out. It’s a short experience but a memorable one.
