Games Like Contra Swap

Contra Swap is a really clever puzzle game you can jump into right in your web browser. The core idea is you're manipulating the rules of a classic Contra style run and gun game. You don't control the character directly at first. Instead you're swapping different elements of the game like enemy types, weapon loadouts, or even level layouts to create new challenges. It's surprisingly deep for something that looks initially simple. Each swap creates a fresh puzzle to solve, requiring you to think about how different combinations will affect your ability to survive. It’s a fantastic blend of nostalgia and innovative gameplay that keeps you engaged trying to find the optimal way to clear each level. You’ll find yourself experimenting and strategizing to overcome increasingly complex scenarios.
