CONSUME is a really unique little adventure platformer that grabbed my attention at Ludum Dare. You play as a blob of goo navigating a bizarre and ever-changing world. The core gameplay loop revolves around absorbing objects to grow and gain new abilities. It’s surprisingly funny and the hand-drawn art style gives it a really charming feel. The game is fast paced and constantly throws new challenges at you requiring you to think creatively about how to use your newfound powers. It’s a short experience but a memorable one, with a lot of personality packed into its compact design. If you enjoy games that are inventive and don't take themselves too seriously, you should definitely give CONSUME a shot.
