Games Like Conan (2004)

Conan (2004) throws you into a brutal world straight out of Robert E Howard's pulp tales. You play as the legendary Cimmerian warrior, swinging a massive sword and bashing through hordes of monsters and evil sorcerers. The game is all about raw action and feeling powerful. Combat is fast and punishing with solid controls that let you dodge, parry, and unleash brutal combos. You explore dark dungeons, ancient ruins, and fiery battlefields with a focus on melee combat and environmental destruction. The atmosphere is thick with grimy textures, thundering music, and a sense of constant danger. It's not about complex puzzles or deep storylines. It's about running through enemy lines, feeling the impact of each hit, and surviving long enough to roar your victory. Fans of old-school action games like God of War or even early Dark Souls will appreciate the relentless pace and visceral satisfaction. It's not perfect but it delivers exactly what you want from a Conan game—brutal, loud, and full of swinging swords.
