Games Like Colorlines

Colorlines is a really interesting strategy game that feels both calming and surprisingly engaging. You're essentially building and managing a network of interconnected nodes on a grid. Each node has stats that influence how it interacts with others and the overall flow of energy. The core loop involves strategically placing and upgrading these nodes to achieve certain goals, often related to connecting specific points or maximizing certain stats. It’s a very tactile experience seeing your network grow and watching the energy pulse through it. The game is designed to be relaxed and thoughtful, but there's a definite tactical element to optimize your layout and anticipate future needs. It's the kind of game you can pick up for a short session or lose yourself in for a longer play. If you enjoy games that reward planning and a bit of experimentation with a clean visual style, Colorlines could be right up your alley.
