Games Like Colony Wars

Colony Wars is a really interesting title from the PlayStation's early days. It throws you into a future where humanity has spread across the galaxy and various factions are battling for control. You get to command a fleet of spaceships engaging in real time tactical combat. What makes it stand out is the depth of the ship customization. You can really fine tune each vessel with different weapons, shields, and engines. The single player campaign is solid and the multiplayer is where the game truly shines offering intense battles against other players. It’s a game that rewards strategic thinking and careful planning. It isn't the prettiest game by modern standards but the core gameplay loop of building your fleet and dominating the battlefield is still incredibly engaging. If you enjoy space combat and tinkering with ship builds, Colony Wars is definitely worth checking out.
