Games Like Cogs of Combat

Cogs of Combat is a wonderfully silly top down shooter that feels like a loving parody of classic 8 bit games. It’s a short blast of multiplayer fun perfect for hopping in with a friend for some local co op mayhem. You control a character who’s essentially a walking arsenal, blasting through waves of enemies in a retro inspired world. The game embraces its demake aesthetic wholeheartedly, and that’s part of its charm. It doesn’t take itself seriously at all, focusing on chaotic action and cooperative teamwork. Expect fast paced shooting, ridiculous enemy designs, and a healthy dose of nostalgia. It’s the kind of game you pick up when you want something lighthearted and fun without needing a huge time commitment.
