Codename Prodigy is a really fun 2D action game perfect for hopping in with a friend. It’s got a cool pixel art style that feels nostalgic yet fresh. The core gameplay revolves around cooperative battles where you and your partner team up to take on waves of enemies. Each character has unique abilities so you need to coordinate your attacks to succeed. It's easy to pick up and play making it great for casual sessions but there’s enough depth in the character builds and enemy variety to keep things interesting. The local split screen is fantastic for couch co-op fun. It's still in early access so expect some tweaks but the foundation is solid and it offers a satisfying experience for anyone looking for a straightforward action game with a multiplayer focus.
