Games Like Close

Close is a really unique simulation game that puts you in the role of a lone astronaut on a deep space mission. The core of the game is about managing your ship and resources while dealing with the psychological effects of isolation and the unsettling feeling of being so far from everything. It's not about epic space battles or exploring alien planets. Instead, you'll be monitoring systems, making tough decisions about power allocation and life support, and trying to maintain your sanity as strange things happen. The game leans heavily into atmosphere and a sense of dread. It’s less about action and more about a slow burn of tension and the creeping realization that you might not be alone or that things aren't quite as they seem. If you enjoy games that focus on mood and a sense of unease and don't mind a slower pace, Close offers a genuinely memorable and unsettling experience.
