Games Like Citadel

Citadel throws you into a world where every fight feels personal and every corner holds a secret. You play as a lone warrior exploring a crumbling fortress filled with traps, hidden passages, and enemies that never stop coming. The combat is fast and brutal with a focus on timing and positioning. You can use a variety of weapons and abilities to mix up your approach. What really stands out is how the game rewards smart movement and awareness over just spamming attacks. The world feels alive in a quiet way with shifting light, eerie sounds, and environmental puzzles that make you stop and think. It’s not flashy but it’s deeply satisfying to master. You’ll find yourself replaying tough sections just to get the rhythm right. There’s a strong sense of isolation and dread that builds as you go deeper. The co-op mode adds a whole new layer of tension and teamwork. It’s not easy but it’s always fair and always fun.
