Chronicle Unit Eight is a captivating 2D action RPG that really grabbed my attention. You step into the role of a lone operative navigating a mysterious and decaying world. The pixel art is gorgeous and really sets a unique atmosphere. Gameplay revolves around exploring environments uncovering secrets and engaging in challenging combat encounters. It’s got a great soundtrack that perfectly complements the visuals and the sense of isolation. While it's still in Early Access it feels surprisingly complete offering a solid blend of exploration character progression and intriguing story elements. It’s the kind of game you can easily lose a few hours in as you piece together the narrative and uncover the truths of this strange world.
