Games Like Choice Loadout

Choice Loadout is a really interesting little shooter that came out in 2018 as part of Ludum Dare. It's a top down game where you're in the middle of a battle and you have to quickly select the best loadout for your character. Each weapon has different stats and abilities so you have to think on your feet and adapt to the situation. The gameplay is fast paced and requires you to really focus on what's happening on the screen. It’s not a deep story driven experience but the core loop of choosing weapons and fighting is incredibly satisfying. It's a short game but it's packed with replayability because there are so many different combinations to try. If you enjoy quick action games where strategic decision making is key and you don't mind a minimalist presentation this one is worth checking out.
