Games Like Checkup

Checkup is a really interesting game that blends a bunch of different ideas together. You play as a character working in a bizarre shop that seems to exist within a prison setting. The core gameplay involves managing this shop, dealing with various requests and challenges, and even engaging in some defense mechanics. There’s a strong musical element throughout which contributes to the unique atmosphere. It feels like a project born from a game jam which gives it a distinct and sometimes quirky feel. It’s not a game you’ll find in a typical genre box, but the combination of business management, a touch of the strange, and a focus on music creates a memorable experience. If you enjoy games that aren’t afraid to be unconventional and offer a blend of unexpected mechanics, Checkup might be right up your alley.
