Games Like ChatAid (itch)

ChatAid from 2019 is a really interesting little game that plays with the idea of online interactions and horror. It's a short singleplayer experience where you're navigating a chatroom. The game doesn't have a traditional story but instead unfolds through the conversations you have with other users. It’s a bit unsettling as things shift from seemingly normal chat to something much darker and more mysterious. You get to customize a female protagonist and even encounter a male one within the chat. It’s not about complex puzzles or intense action but more about the atmosphere and the feeling of unease that builds as you explore the chatroom and its inhabitants. If you enjoy games that focus on creating a specific mood and enjoy a touch of psychological horror in a unique setting, ChatAid is worth checking out. It’s a quick experience but one that sticks with you.
