Catapult Simulator is a wonderfully silly and surprisingly deep game all about launching things with catapults. Seriously you get to build and fine tune your own catapults using a realistic physics engine. The core loop is pretty straightforward you select your projectile maybe a barrel or a chicken and then adjust all sorts of settings like launch angle and power. The fun comes from experimenting and seeing just how far or how spectacularly your projectile will travel. It's a sandbox experience where failure is often hilarious and success feels incredibly satisfying. There's a definite learning curve to mastering the physics and achieving those insane distances but the game embraces experimentation and doesn't take itself too seriously. Expect lots of physics based chaos and a whole lot of laughs. It's a unique blend of strategy and simulation that's easy to pick up but hard to truly master.
