Castle Wolfenstein is a really unique adventure game from 1981. You play as B.J. Blazkowicz a tough soldier trying to stop a mad scientist and his Nazi forces. It's all about exploring different areas solving puzzles and of course fighting Nazis. The game uses a first person perspective which was pretty groundbreaking at the time. What makes it stand out is the intense atmosphere and the feeling of being constantly hunted. It's simple to pick up but offers a surprisingly engaging experience with its challenging encounters and a story that really puts you in the middle of the action. It’s a classic for a reason and a great look at early first person game design. If you enjoy a bit of a historical setting with a heavy dose of action and a sense of urgency this game is definitely worth checking out.
