Games Like Castle Storm

Castle Storm is a really interesting blend of strategy and fighting game elements. You're essentially commanding a castle and deploying units to defend against waves of enemies. The core loop involves strategically placing your castle structures and warriors to create powerful defenses and then actively engaging in real time combat. It’s got a cool 2D art style that’s simple but effective, and the storm mechanic adds a dynamic element to the battles. What makes it stand out is the way you can customize your castle and units, experimenting with different builds to find what works best. It's easy to pick up but offers surprising depth as you learn more about unit synergies and defensive strategies. If you enjoy games where planning and quick reflexes meet, Castle Storm is definitely worth checking out. It provides a satisfying sense of progression as you strengthen your defenses and take on increasingly challenging foes.
