Games Like CarThingie

CarThingie is a really fun little racing game perfect for a quick burst of multiplayer action. It's built using GameMaker which gives it a charming retro feel. The core loop is simple you pick a vehicle and race against other players in various short minigames. These aren't your typical long drawn out races more like chaotic and silly challenges. Expect things like obstacle courses or even just straight up drag races with a twist. The game is unrated so it's probably suitable for most ages and the fact that the sourcecode is available is a huge plus for anyone curious about how it's made. It’s a great game to jump into with friends or just to unwind with when you don't have a ton of time. It’s all about quick thrills and lighthearted competition.
