Games Like Caroot

Caroot is a really charming 2D beat them up game that feels like a delightful surprise. You play as a little carrot defending your garden from a horde of pesky critters. The gameplay is super intuitive focusing on using a grappling hook to swing around and attack enemies. It’s got a vibrant nature theme with a whimsical art style that’s just pleasing to look at. The game is short and sweet perfect for a quick play session or just when you need a little bit of fun. It’s got a lighthearted feel and while it’s an action game it doesn't take itself too seriously. It's a great example of what can be created in a Global Game Jam a fun little package that delivers a satisfying experience.
