Candid is a really unique experience a little different from most games you've played. It's a narrative adventure played entirely within the Bitsy engine giving it this incredibly charming retro aesthetic. You step into the shoes of a character reflecting on their life and relationships exploring different facets of their past. It's not about complex combat or intricate puzzles it’s about the emotional journey the memories and the connections that shape who we are. The game touches on themes of identity and LGBT experiences handled with a lot of sensitivity and heart. It's a short but deeply affecting game perfect for a quiet afternoon when you want something thoughtful and visually appealing. It’s an intimate look at personal stories presented in a surprisingly engaging way.
