Games Like Burial (Patchy Illusion Team)

Burial is a really unique adventure puzzle game that completely captivated me. You play as a young boy named Joel who is searching for his missing cat. The game has this incredibly distinct pixel art style that blends cute and gothic elements creating a surprisingly atmospheric world. It's a singleplayer experience where you explore surreal and often unsettling environments solving intricate puzzles along the way. The story unfolds gradually through environmental storytelling and cryptic interactions. It’s not a game that holds your hand it encourages you to observe and piece things together. While the visuals might seem lighthearted at first the underlying tone is melancholic and thought provoking. If you enjoy games that prioritize atmosphere and a sense of mystery over fast paced action Burial is definitely worth checking out. It’s a short experience but one that lingers in your mind long after you finish.
