Games Like Burden

Burden throws you into a harsh post-apocalyptic world where survival is a constant struggle. You aren't a chosen one or a powerful hero just a person trying to make it in a broken landscape. The core gameplay loop revolves around scavenging resources crafting tools and building a base to protect yourself from both the environment and hostile creatures. It’s a slow burn experience emphasizing careful planning and resource management over frantic action. Expect to spend a lot of time exploring ruins uncovering lore and making tough decisions about where to allocate your limited supplies. There's a definite sense of loneliness and vulnerability that permeates the game making each successful day feel like a hard-earned victory.
