BulletEater is a really fun 3D platformer that throws you into a chaotic fantasy world. You play as a character who can essentially eat projectiles and use them as weapons. It sounds simple but the gameplay is surprisingly inventive. You’ll be dodging enemy attacks and then turning the tables by absorbing those same attacks to unleash powerful counterattacks. The levels are filled with quirky enemies and challenging platforming sections that demand precise timing. It’s got a lighthearted tone and a lot of silly moments making it a great pick-me-up. The game isn't overly complex but it’s consistently engaging because of the satisfying feeling of mastering the projectile-eating mechanic.
