Games Like BugSurvive

BugSurvive is a really interesting little shooter that popped up in a Ludum Dare game jam back in 2018. It’s a top down perspective where you’re completely surrounded by bugs and you have to survive as long as you can. The gameplay is super focused on quick reflexes and strategic use of your limited resources. You’ll be scavenging for items and fighting off waves of increasingly challenging insects. It’s not a game with a deep story or complex mechanics it's all about the immediate challenge and the feeling of being overwhelmed. The art style is simple and effective conveying a sense of claustrophobia and constant threat. It's the kind of game you can jump into for a quick burst of adrenaline or try to beat your personal best. If you enjoy games that throw you into chaotic situations and test your ability to adapt it's definitely worth checking out.
