Games Like Bugs (itch)

Bugs is a really cool 2D shooter that throws you into a pixelated alien world. You control a small ship blasting through waves of strange creatures in top-down perspective. The gameplay is straightforward and addictive focusing on dodging enemy fire and unleashing your own arsenal. It's got a retro vibe with its simple graphics but the action is surprisingly engaging. You’ll find yourself constantly trying new weapons and strategies to survive. It’s not a super deep story driven experience but the core loop of shooting aliens and upgrading your ship is incredibly satisfying. If you enjoy classic arcade shooters with a modern pixel art twist then Bugs is definitely worth checking out. It’s the kind of game you can pick up and play for a quick burst of fun or lose yourself in for a longer session trying to achieve a high score.
