Bug Lab is a really neat little shooter that came out as part of a Kenney Jam. It’s a pretty simple game at its core you control a bug and you’re trying to survive by shooting other bugs. The gameplay is fast paced and the environments are minimalist which actually works really well. It’s not about complex stories or deep mechanics it’s more about the fun of blasting things and seeing how far you can get. The game is short and sweet perfect for a quick burst of gaming fun. It feels very experimental and like a cool little proof of concept showcasing how a simple idea can be really engaging.
