Breakout Tic-80 is a fantastic little puzzle game that feels like a love letter to classic arcade games. It puts you in control of a paddle at the bottom of the screen trying to bounce a ball and destroy blocks. The twist is the game is built using the TIC-80, a very limited fantasy console. This means the graphics are simple 8 bit but it’s charming and nostalgic. What makes it so addictive is the clever level design. Each stage presents a new challenge requiring you to think strategically about how to position your paddle and angle your shots.
