Games Like Brawl (itch)

Brawl is a super fun fast paced action platformer that feels right at home with classic arcade games. It’s a multiplayer brawler built using PICO-8 which gives it a charming retro pixel art style. You jump into chaotic matches where you control a character and fight against other players using simple controls and a variety of moves. The game is all about quick reflexes and strategic positioning to outmaneuver your opponents. It’s easy to pick up and play but has a surprising amount of depth as you learn the nuances of each character and the arena. Because it's sourcecode is available and DRM free, you can even tinker with the game yourself which is pretty cool. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a chaotic and enjoyable experience with a nostalgic feel.
