Games Like BOX (itch) (NoMadStudios)

BOX is a really interesting little platformer that plays with physics in a way I haven't seen in a while. You control a box navigating levels filled with all sorts of interactive objects. The core mechanic is manipulating the box's properties like mass and friction to solve puzzles and get through each area. It feels surprisingly tactile and satisfying to fine tune your movements and experiment with different approaches. The levels are cleverly designed and offer a good mix of challenge and reward. It’s not about twitch reflexes it’s more about careful planning and understanding how the physics engine works. The minimalist aesthetic keeps the focus squarely on the gameplay which I found really refreshing. If you enjoy games where you get to tinker and figure things out BOX offers a unique and engaging experience. It’s short but packed with ideas and it’s a testament to how much fun simple mechanics can be.
