Games Like Box Commandos

Box Commandos is a really fun little shooter that throws you right into the middle of World War II action. You control a squad of soldiers and have to strategically position them to take down enemy forces. It's a side scrolling game with a top down perspective which gives you a good overview of the battlefield. What makes it stand out is the emphasis on tactical placement. You aren't just running and gunning; you need to think about cover and flanking maneuvers to succeed. The game feels surprisingly engaging for a mobile title and the retro aesthetic adds to the charm. It’s a solid single player experience that offers a decent challenge without being overly frustrating. If you enjoy classic shooters with a bit of a strategic twist, Box Commandos is definitely worth checking out.
