Bottle Factory is a really interesting game that never officially launched. It’s a 2D clicker game where you manage a bottle factory. The core gameplay loop is pretty simple you click to produce bottles and then use those bottles to create other things like machines and upgrades. It has a distinct pixel art style which gives it a retro feel. What makes it stand out is its ambitious scope. Even though it was canceled, the developers had planned for a surprisingly complex system with lots of different production lines and interconnected elements. It’s the kind of game you can pick up and play for a few minutes or get lost in for a longer session as you try to optimize your factory and unlock new technologies. It’s a shame it wasn’t fully released, but the bits that exist offer a unique glimpse into what could have been a really engaging and intricate idle game experience.
