Games Like Bots (itch)

Bots is a fascinating little web game created for Ludum Dare 40 in 2017. It’s a really unique experience where you get to interact with a bunch of different AI bots. You don’t control a single character but instead observe and sometimes influence their interactions in a world that feels both familiar and a little strange. The gameplay is less about winning and more about witnessing emergent stories unfold. Each bot has its own personality and motivations, leading to unpredictable and often humorous situations. It’s the kind of game that sparks your imagination as you try to piece together what’s happening and why. There’s a real charm to watching these little digital lives play out, and it’s surprisingly engaging even without traditional game mechanics. It’s a short but memorable dive into artificial intelligence and unexpected narratives.
