Games Like BossMan

BossMan is a really interesting little game that puts you in charge of a criminal empire. You start with nothing and have to build your organization from the ground up. It's a 2D top-down beat 'em up with a strong focus on character customization. You'll be designing your boss's look and skills while also managing your crew and planning heists. The game has a distinct dystopian vibe and a retro GameMaker aesthetic which is kind of charming. Be warned though it features permadeath which adds a real layer of tension to every decision you make. It's a unique blend of management and action where every failure can set you back significantly. If you enjoy games where you have to carefully strategize and are okay with the possibility of losing progress, BossMan offers a compelling experience.
