Games Like Bork (DABUOYS)

Bork DABUOYS is a really interesting little strategy game born from Ludum Dare 51. It's all about dice rolling and managing resources to build something functional and hopefully useful. The core loop involves rolling dice and then using the results to construct various components. These components then combine in unexpected ways to create contraptions that attempt to solve challenges. It's a game that embraces randomness and encourages creative problem solving. You'll spend a lot of time experimenting with different combinations seeing what strange and wonderful things you can build. There's a definite charm to the chaotic nature of the game. It's not about perfect planning but about adapting to what the dice give you and finding clever solutions. If you enjoy games where emergent gameplay and a bit of delightful absurdity are key, Bork might be right up your alley.
