BOOMERANG X is a really fun little shooter you can pick up on itch.io. You control a character who has to fend off waves of monsters using a boomerang. The cool part is you don't directly aim the boomerang. Instead you draw a path with your mouse and it flies along that line hitting everything in its way. It's surprisingly satisfying to create these looping paths and watch the monsters get obliterated. The game is simple to learn but getting really good at it takes some practice with timing and planning your boomerang arcs. It's a perfect game for a quick burst of action or when you just want something straightforward and engaging without a lot of fuss.
