Boids is a really unique simulation game where you get to create and guide flocks of birds. It sounds simple but it's surprisingly captivating. You don't directly control individual birds instead you set up rules like separation alignment and cohesion and watch as these simple principles lead to incredibly complex and beautiful flocking behavior. It's a peaceful experience watching the birds move and interact with each other almost like a natural phenomenon. You can experiment with different rule combinations to see what emergent behaviors arise. There's a real sense of discovery in figuring out how these basic rules can create such intricate patterns. It’s a game that encourages experimentation and offers a calming yet fascinating experience.
