Games Like BloodGate

BloodGate is a fascinating indie title from 2016 that blends action, adventure, and RPG elements with a unique match 3 twist. You step into a world where strategic puzzle solving directly impacts combat and exploration. It’s not your typical RPG where you just grind levels. Instead, you’ll be using your match 3 skills to unleash powerful attacks, solve environmental puzzles, and even influence the story’s progression. The game offers both singleplayer and multiplayer experiences allowing you to team up with friends or test your skills against others. It might seem unusual at first but the developers have managed to create a surprisingly engaging and addictive gameplay loop. If you enjoy games that challenge you mentally and offer a fresh take on familiar genres BloodGate is definitely worth checking out.
