Blockoid is a really cool 2D game that blends shooting and platforming in a way that feels fresh. You control a character navigating blocky worlds, battling enemies with a variety of weapons and abilities. The level design is fantastic constantly throwing new challenges and secrets at you. It has a distinct retro aesthetic but with a modern sensibility making it both familiar and exciting.
