Games Like Blockoban

Blockoban is a really clever puzzle game that’s perfect for when you want something to quietly engage your brain. You’re presented with a board and a bunch of blocks and the goal is simple you need to clear the board by sliding the blocks around. The catch is you can only move the entire stack of blocks in one direction. It sounds easy but it quickly gets quite challenging as the blocks get more numerous and the spaces become tighter. There’s a satisfying feeling of accomplishment when you finally figure out the right sequence of moves to solve a level. The game has a nice simple aesthetic and a surprisingly pleasant soundtrack that doesn't distract from the core puzzle solving experience. It’s the kind of game you can pick up and play for a few minutes or get lost in for a longer session. It's all about logic and planning and it’s just genuinely fun to see those blocks fall into place.
