Games Like BlockAid

BlockAid is a surprisingly engaging little strategy game from SEGA released back in 2016. It’s a casual experience where you’re tasked with building and defending a base using various blocks. The core gameplay revolves around strategically placing these blocks to create defenses against waves of incoming enemies. It’s not about complex tactics or twitch reflexes; instead, it’s about thoughtful planning and efficient resource management. The game offers a relaxing yet subtly challenging experience. You’ll find yourself constantly optimizing your defenses, experimenting with different block arrangements, and trying to survive increasingly difficult waves. It's the kind of game you can pick up and play for a quick session or lose yourself in for a longer period as you strive to achieve a high score. It's simple to learn but offers enough depth to keep you coming back for more, making it a solid choice if you enjoy laid back strategic thinking.
