Games Like Black Space

Black Space is a really cool retro styled sci-fi adventure that feels right at home on both your computer and your phone. You play as a space explorer navigating a mysterious and dangerous sector of the galaxy. It’s a 2D game so it has that classic feel but the combat and exploration are surprisingly deep. You’ll be battling aliens, upgrading your ship, and uncovering the secrets of this strange place. The game isn't overly complicated to pick up but there's a satisfying sense of progression as you become more powerful. It’s a great choice if you enjoy a bit of nostalgic charm mixed with engaging gameplay and a compelling sci-fi setting. It offers a good amount of content for a single playthrough and the visuals really capture that old school aesthetic.
