Games Like Biolight (studiokaboom)

Biolight is a really engaging twin stick shooter that throws you into a chaotic university setting. You control a bioluminescent creature battling hordes of enemies in endless waves. It's a top down perspective so you get a great view of the action. The game is surprisingly addictive with its fast paced combat and satisfying powerups. It’s a testament to what a dedicated indie developer can achieve. While it started as a university project in Brisbane Australia, it feels polished and fun to play. You’ll be dodging, shooting, and collecting upgrades as you try to survive for as long as you can. It’s not a deep story driven game but the core gameplay loop is incredibly compelling and easy to pick up. If you enjoy a challenge and a frantic shooter experience, Biolight is definitely worth checking out.
