Games Like Betrayal

Betrayal is a really interesting game that blends strategy and simulation elements in a unique way. You're essentially managing a group of adventurers exploring a fantasy world. The core loop involves planning their actions, equipping them with gear, and sending them on expeditions to uncover secrets and fight monsters. What makes it stand out is the focus on preparation and the feeling of carefully orchestrating your party's success. It's not about twitch reflexes or fast paced combat it’s more about thoughtful decision making and seeing your plans come to fruition. You can play solo or with friends in split screen or online which adds a whole new layer of fun. It has a retro aesthetic that’s charming and the isometric view gives you a good overview of the world. If you enjoy games where you feel like a mastermind guiding a team toward victory this one is definitely worth checking out.
